Valletta is a very gifted city that has a lot to offer – I had some strikingly beautiful experiences and have met some great people [at the Valletta International Film Festival] who strongly inspired me.
Dialogue and debate are crucial in discovering a city through its people. The city automatically becomes the space where everything happens. Educating an audience and seducing it through the arts is a long process and not something that can be fulfilled overnight, but methods [like the VCA] help certain territories to gain their shape.
