Curator Joseph P. Smith selected a series of photographs which either broke new ground in contemporaneity, featured in iconic publications or made news items. Some are part of the Maltese and USA National Collections, while others were exhibited in prestigious galleries and biennales such as the National Portrait Gallery in London and the Ostrale in Dresden.
This project is created and produced by the Valletta Cultural Agency in collaboration with the Valletta Local Council.
