The Oratory of the Onorati, Jesuits’ Church, in Archbishop Street, Valletta, will host an evening of sacred music performed by the renowned Cappella Musicale Caeciliana on the 23rd December at 6pm. This concert offers a moment of serenity and contemplation, inviting audiences to pause and reconnect with the spiritual essence of the festive season.

Their repertoire combines classical sacred music with traditional carols, offering unparalleled opportunity for audiences to experience one of Malta’s finest sacred music ensembles in an intimate, historic setting. The Cappella Musicale Caeciliana will present a rich programme of sacred and traditional Christmas music, featuring timeless works by Bach, Mozart, Handel, and Praetorius, alongside Maltese favourites such as Ninni la Tibkix Iżjed and O Ġesu Ħelwa Tarbija, culminating in beloved carols like Hark! The Herald Angels Sing and Adeste Fideles. This selection blends classical masterpieces with local traditions, offering a moving and festive celebration of the Nativity.
