The Valletta Cultural Agency invites the public to participate in the first of two major special concerts celebrating Maltese songs. The first concert will be held in May next year at St George’s Square, Valletta.
Members of the public can take part by visiting www.aqwa20.com and voting for their favourite Maltese song, written and performed in Maltese, and released between 1975 and 2005. The 20 most popular songs, as chosen by voters, will be performed live by Malta’s leading singers, accompanied by an orchestra under the direction of Maestro Paul Abela.
Voting will remain open until 30 November 2025.
